Good News vs. Good Ideas
Missional / Emerging Theology April 30th, 2008I listened to a talk today by NT Wright on Jesus and the Kingdom, in which he said a very profound thing:
There is a profound difference between seeing Jesus as having good ideas and having Good News.
What do you think?

I absolutely agree. If Jesus simply had good ideas, he is just another great prophet or teacher and not the Messiah. It is imperative that Jesus have Good News. Without it, we are lost.
